Mine

Kids, they grow up too fast. I really love this quote a friend put on a photo magnet for me before my daughter was born. It is just perfect! Don't you love those dimensional elements? I used a makeup sponge and my ink pads to color them in lightly. Then, I stamped small flowers in chocolate to make it pop! It is such an easy and very cool technique. It makes me forget that I am using the same font of chipboard over and over again.
Enjoy!

We're Back!

After a two week trip from GA, KY, WV, and SC, we are back home. Here is a cute picture of my little one at my parents' house in WV. She loved the cold glass. I think she was trying to soothe her gums. So funny!

I hope to have some time to create today, but I am not sure our nap schedules will be on track. We've been off schedule for two weeks. I'm going to try!

We had such a great time on our trip. We loved visiting with everyone, and we hope many of you will make your way to sunny FL soon. It sure feels good to be home.

So Tiny

Look at that hand and foot! My little girl was so tiny. I loved these photos, and I decided to create this one page layout for a frame in her room. My kids are very lucky that I take their pictures so much. They will have so much to look back on when they get older!

De-stress by Distressing!

I loved the layout on the front of the Autumn/Winter Idea 2007 Idea Book, so I used it as an inspiration for this one page LO of Bryson. I took the picture a few days after he turned 3. I had fun distressing the cardstock/papers and using the ink with my distressing kit.

So Much Love

Seriously, there is a lot of love between these two already. Bryson gets such a sweet expression when Scarlett is around, and look how he makes her smile. I am one lucky mom! This was a color challenge from Marjorie. I've never used Cranberry, Hollyhock, Sunkiss Yellow, and Sweet Leaf together, but I liked the way it turned out.

Cool Gift Idea

Ok, so I was lazy today. I probably could've found some creative time, but I just hung out with my family. The time change gets to me! I used a cheap white frame from Michaels and some of my fabulous CTMH products to create this frame over a year ago. Isn't it cute? I've made many more since this one, and people love receiving them as gifts.

Isn't She Lovely?

Go ahead, say it...YES! She is so lovely. These pictures are my very favorite of Baby Scarlett. She was about four months old, and she just really helped me get some great shots that day. I have a running list of possible layout titles, and this one seemed to go perfect with these pictures.

My Little Fairy Princess

I created this layout a few months ago. When I showed it to a friend yesterday, she went went crazy over it. I learned the technique for the chipboard letters from a fellow CTMH consultant, Pam Klassen. You use a makeup sponge to ink the letters. It was really easy to do, but it looks so sophisticated! This is Scarlett in her Halloween costume. I just love this picture!

All products are CTMH. I used Key Lime, Amethyst, Hydrangea inks and/or cardstock, Dimensional Elements, and Sparkles.

Nine Months

Scarlett is now 9 months old. I created this layout over the course of about eight days. Some days I just don't have any time to create. This one was a bit of challenge for me because it lacks a title. I couldn't think of one, so I decided to go without. I also completed it without any stamping. Definitely out of my box! I love this CTMH Serendipity packet. I journaled just a little on the big flower on the right page. Don't you just want to squeeze those cheeks?
I used the CTMH Serendity packet, Chocolate Mini Medleys, and some Bamboo organdy ribbon to complete this layout. My ribbon came lose on the bottom of the right page. I'll fix it!

You AMAZE Me

Yesterday, we went to the doctor to check on Bryson's sinus infection. It seems to be all gone, but we will be heading to a pediatric allergist. He is just like his daddy! When Bryson was a little younger, he despised going to the doctor. He screamed and cried from the minute we went into the office door. He's grown up so much. There wasn't one tear or cry coming out of him. I was so proud! I just love watching my little guy grow up, but I wish he would slow down a bit. It is going way too fast! Sorry for the glare on the picture.

Here it goes...

Ok, so it is nothing fancy, but here is a fun card I made using my daughter's outfit as my inspiration. I love the color combo!

Don't laugh, but I can't remember which green I used for this card. I know I used CTMH Crystal Blue, Dutch Blue, Sunkiss Yellow, and Chocolate.

Soooo new at this...

Ok, so I decided to give blogging a try. It is a great way to share with others. I hardly have time to craft, but I am hoping this will inspire me to make time! Stay tuned for more.
