Marjorie's Challenge

So the challenge is Blush, Hollyhock, and Garden Green. I added Chocolate since I had this great scrap piece of B&T in my scrap bag!
I am not feeling very creative today, but I had fun during nap time! I really have the three kids (my two and my sisters 2 yo) trained to sleep at the same time. It is so nice!
I am waiting for UPS (aka Man In Brown) to visit me with a big CTMH package today!
Off to organize my digital photos...Auggghh...
Enjoy!

Busy, Fun Times

I've been neglecting to post lately. Guess I am just caught up in busy, everyday life. Our sweet baby girl took her first few steps last week. Now, we are just hoping we'll have the video camera ready when she takes off for good!

I spent some time with scrap friends on Friday. I actually scrapped some, but not too much. Here is a Good Times LO I completed for my dad's scrapbook. Very cool LO of Poppy and his little man.

Enjoy!

Scraps

I am pretty good about keeping my scraps and using them. Now that I have my Cuttlebug, I can use 3 3/4 x 5 1/4 sheets with my embossing folders for card fronts. I embossed a bunch today, so they will be ready when I need them for a quick card. Actually, I rarely do any scrapping "quick"...Ha!
This one uses all scraps, well...except for the ribbon.
I am anxiously awaiting my CTMH order I made the other day. I used birthday money to get some awesome new products.
Enjoy!

Unorganized

Yeah, so here is what part of my room looks like right now. The rest is in some order, but silly me decided to start working on things today before I unpacked from Maria's crop. I just kept it all on the table.
Oh, and here's a quick little card I made using the colors from Marjorie's color challenge (Crystal Blue, Barn Red, White Daisy, and Bamboo). It took only a few minutes, which is great! Don't have much time to scrap lately, but I am working on it...

Happy Day!

I made this cute little card to send to a dear friend of mine. We went out for dinner over a month ago, and I laughed so hard that night. We were roommates in college and now live only 45 minutes apart. We are getting better at seeing each other more often. I always have so much fun around her.
I am enjoying my birthday so far. I really should get an award for being able to put three kids down to nap at the same time! Seriously, I've had about 45 minutes of time to myself, and they are still sleeping...

Tomorrow is...

my birthday! I will be spending it with three very special little ones, my two children and my niece. Not sure what kind of fun we will get into together. B is already singing to me tonight. He is such a sweet little boy. I have a cocktail party to attend tomorrow night with my moms group. I hope it will be lots of fun. I have almost completed my Mothers and More scrapbook (or at least the beginning of it). I can't wait to get back to my personal projects this weekend!
Have a happy day :-)

Kakuro Crazy

Confession: This is something nerdy that I love to do! Have you ever heard of Kakuro (sum totals)? Well, these puzzles put Sudoku to shame! Seriously, I have always liked math, so Kakuro is perfect for me. It is the way I unwind in the evening before bed. No wonder my kid loves puzzles! He is just like me. :-)

Such a Slacker!

I have really been slacking on my posting lately! We've been busy spring cleaning, entertaining guests, and enjoying the little ones. I am still hard at work on my Mothers and More scrapbook. I really hope everyone appreciates it, because I am putting a lot of time into it. I purchased a Cuttlebug as an early birthday present for myself on Saturday. Michael's had a great sale on all of it. I love the embossing folders. Maybe I will have time to create something new to post tomorrow! Stay tuned...

Mothers and More

So, I have been asked to work on a scrapbook for my Mothers and More group. I was a little overwhelmed at first, but I am having so much fun with it. I just joined the group in the past six months, and it is such a great outlet for moms. We have so many events and opportunites to get out with our kids AND without them! Here is a little preview of my title page. I always like the make it extra special since it is the first thing people will see. Enjoy!

True Friend

Ah, don't you just love a "true" friend? I created this layout about my friendship with a very dear friend of mine, Patty. I love this Let's Get Together paper, but it has taken me awhile to find the right pictures for it. Anyway, I haven't created anything new this week. Poor me! This one is from a few months ago. I love the friend from Friendship Word Puzzle.
Hope everyone has a terrific weekend. I am planning on enjoying the sunshine. It is about 85 here today. :-)

Oh, and tell a true friend just how special he/she is to you!
