New Stuff and RAKs

This is one of the bonus layouts from my November workshop using Magic Moments. It is also one of the layouts you see in the Idea Book. I love it! I am always so happy when I can use older pictures on pages. These were taken at a birthday party we attended about two years ago at Gymboree. Bryson loved it. He still looked a lot like a toddler at that time. Gosh, they grow up too fast!

My blog friend, Laurel, sent me these great images and a beautiful card! and...
Jena sent me this cool tool box for my scrapbooking goodies! How lucky am I? :-)

I am still trying to settle in after our trip, so I will be back with that blog candy just as soon as I can get into my scraproom and put something together!

Have a great day!

Home

*I just reread my post. Guess I should clarify that this picture is from my "home" in WV. You know leaves never look that good in FL!
We just arrived to our official home in FL this afternoon. I feel a lot like SUPERMOM after 13 hours and two days in the car with the kids by myself! :-)

It was very cold and rainy here today, but it is so good to be home again. Here is a picture from my parents' driveway. I think the leaves are still pretty, but my mom assures me that they looked better last week. Hey, I live in FL now, so I don't get to enjoy this at all when I am there. I think they look beautiful now. :-) I just really hope it doesn't rain so we can take the kids to the pumpkin patch tomorrow.

I miss my paper crafting... Can't wait to get home and just stare at all my goodies. You all know you do it, too!

Mini Pocket Album and a Layout

I saw Tresa's new video tutorial, and I just knew I needed to make one of these for my sister-in-law and her soon (like 3 days from now) husband. I am putting her "gift" and note from our family inside. She is getting married on her family's tree farm, so It's A Guy Thing was the perfect paper to use.
We are leaving tomorrow for a long trip to visit, attend the wedding, and visit some more. We can't wait to see everyone and enjoy some true fall weather. I am sure I will be ready to return to the warmth of FL before it is all over.

This is the inside of my trial one I made to make sure i knew what I was doing. I used Whoops-A-Daisy paper.

This is one of the bonus layouts with my Notebook workshop. I changed it up a bit, and I plan on adding some stitching and ribbon. It felt good to use some of my baby pictures I've had sitting around for awhile. I am currently working on my Magic Moments bonus layouts, but it will be at least two weeks before I can share those. I want you all to see them with the finishing touches! I was not a fan of the paper packet until I get busy using it. Now, I love it!!!

I hope to have a chance to post a few pictures while I am away. If not, I will be back in a few weeks! Don't forget about me. Of course, you won't! :-) How could you? I'll have blog candy after I return!

Fun Park Pictures and a Layout

I took Scarlett to the park with some of our friends while Bryson was at preschool last week. She loves it there. She even let me snap a few fun pictures. :-)
I came home and printed some out on my home printer to put on this new workshop layout. I wasn't crazy about the Magic Moments Workshop layout until I started working on mine. I really love it. I never thought I'd like all that Colonial White showing, but I was wrong. I also used my Friendship Alphabet set. I just love those letters! Sorry for the horrible pictures of the layouts. I was just too lazy to fix them this morning!

I have other pages in progress, but they need embellishments and/or finishing touches. I might be back later today with those. I just never know how much scrapping time I will get with the little ones. Usually, it is not much. Oh well, I really enjoy spending all this fun time with them!

Off to start our day! Thanks for stopping by. :-)

Simple, but Fabulous Cards!

I really love these cards. They are so simple, yet something about them makes them fabulous. Well, at least I think so...

I have a card workshop in the afternoon tomorrow, and my customers will be making each one of these. The Triangle Tri-Fold was inspired by Kim's tutorial. I think these little cards are so cute. I made mine 4 x 4. I used Evensong and the Gratitude stamp set. The Notebook card was my version of the card in the Idea Book. I used Coffee Stain and Circle Around stamp sets. The third card has the Juniper Damask B&T paper from Perfect Day. I love the Cocoa ribbon with this one! The clear buttons have B&T paper attached to them using Liquid Glass. I also dyed the Colonial White Waxy Flax Juniper. My friend Misty gave me that idea! :-)
I haven't completed a scrapbook page in a long time. I've been so busy working the business side of things, that I forget to take time to play! I've also just been so busy with the kids. We've been doing a lot of fun outdoor activities because it is finally cooling down here a little bit.
I am almost on my 100th post. I will definitely be getting some blog candy ready!

Tagged

I have been tagged by Laurel. I usually skip over these, but I am going to be good this time and at least follow rules 1 and 2. :-)

Here are the rules:
1. Link your tagger and list these rules on your blog.
2. Share 7 facts about yourself on your blog, some random, some weird.
3. Tag 7 people at the end of your post by leaving their names as well as links to their blogs.
4. Let them know they have been tagged by leaving a comment on their blog.

1. OMG, I am so like Laurel and Lynn. I really don't enjoy cooking. I try to like it, but I hate the mess and it also stinks that my kids are really picky eaters.

2. At the age of 14, my friend and I were ranked #1 in our state's tennis doubles division.

3. I am good at keeping secrets, but not so good at keeping things a surprise. Does that even make sense?

4. My scraproom needs a lot of help. It is a complete disaster!

5. My sister and I live 13+ hours from our parents, but at least we live in the same neighborhood.

6. I love coffee and Coca-Cola. Both are part of my daily routine. I know I need to cut back, but I can't seem to do it.

7. I know all the songs on the kids show "Hi-5." They are very catchy... :-)

OK, so if you want to play along, follow the rules at the top!

Memory Box (2)

Don't you just love this Memory Box? I put it together this evening. I love how well the box takes the paint. I was inspired by a 2peas you tube video.

Notebook Cards

*Ok, so I have been MIA for about a week. We had a busy beginning of the week with school/playdates, etc. Then, Scarlett got sick and Bryson isn't feeling that great now.*

The cards were inspired by the Notebook cards in the new CTMH catalog. I won the stamp sets, Code It and Coffee Stain, at convention. I wanted to use them and needed a little inspiration. I also used the new rubons on both cards. Gotta love those!

I hope everyone is having a safe and happy weekend!

All products are CTMH.

Perfect Day

Here are my "almost complete" Perfect Day Layouts. One lacks a title, and the other two lack journaling. I had to get them "ready" to show at the workshop last night. I had 13 kits sold for this month's event and 10 attendees to the workshop. We had a lot of fun! Now, you understand why I haven't posted in the past few days. I meant to take pictures of yesterday's set-up, but I forgot! Oh well...

I hope everyone has a wonderful week!

Here is my first Memory Box! I am using it to store fun preschool items. Bryson thinks it is super cool. :-)
