Ok, so first I need to apologize for all those promises I made about blog candy. It has taken me awhile, but I am actually following through! :-) Those of you with children understand that life with a toddler is way different from life with a baby. I can't turn my back for more than a second with my sweet little angel! My preschooler wants so much of my attention, too. We play card and board games all day. I am not complaining, just giving you all my excuses. Oh, and I also spend way too much time on Facebook. ;-)
Anyway, here it is:
My blog candy includes the Annotations stamp set, two packages of alphabet stickers, and a selection of prima flowers. Please post a comment giving me advice on how to get out of my creative slump. It is killing me! You have until Tuesday, Nov. 18 midnight to enter.
I made this block frame this evening. I think it is such a sweet picture of my husband and daughter. I'm hoping to keep it a secret until Christmas. We'll see!
Thanks for stopping by!

I love that block picture. Did you just glue the picture on the back of the block? What kind of glue did you use?
My suggestion (for getting out of the creative slump) is to get together with a friend to scrap. The combination of being forced to create (because you specifically set aside that time) AND of having another persons creativity influence what you're doing, is a win-win situation! Oh, and be sure to have plenty of chocolate nearby. That always helps too ;)
Very nice block frame! Great photo, too. When I'm in a slump, I find it helps me to organize my supplies. I go thru everything and usually will find one or two forgotten items that will inspire me to create something. OR you could visit new-to-you blogs, by clicking on some of the links on the regular blogs you visit. OR you could visit the gallery of your favorite stamp company. OR You could try learning a new technique. These have worked for me, I hope you get out of your slump soon.
Great blog candy, BTW. ;D
I love your block! We made one at a team event a while ago and I am in love with them! When I'm in a creative slump (like I am now) I usually go through my scrap room and organize. Then I'll go to the CTMH boards or other blogs and start scraplifting. Usually after just making something new, my brain starts creating orignial stuff as well! (Now I'm off to follow my own advice, too!) I love the blog candy! Thanks for an opportunity to win! Good luck with the slump!
If I am in a slump, I just start copying other peoples work. Usually when I am done with a page, I will see something that I want to change and after doing that for a while I find that the pages become more my originals and less the other persons idea.
When I'm in a slump I go to studiocalico.com and look at their galleries...some AWESOME AWESOME stuff! I'll also get out some of my favorite items to work with and go from there!
Your acrylic block is awesome!!!! I want one JUST like it!
Your artwork doesn't appear at all like your in a slump. I LOVE the its just a bow layout. That is just darling. Sometimes when I need some inspiration I just start going through my personal pictures of my kids etc and enjoy the memories a little and I always find some picutures that i love and it inspires me to get them on paper. Good luck though, but I think your still doing amazing stuff!
I love the artwork I've seen on your blog...all of it! Everyone who has commented before me...they all have great ideas. When I get in a slump...I pull out pictures, I pull out papers that would match those pictures, I pull and pull and pull...till there isn't any room to scrap but a small area. Then I pull out my Imagine, or Cherish, or Reflections, or any scrapbook magazine, like Scrapbook,etc...my favorite! Somethings always springs to mind. It better, because I didn't pull all this stuff out just to put it all away again!!! LOL
I hope this helps!
Happy Scrappin'!!

Fun, fun frame - I really need to make one of those - TFS!
As for getting out of a creative slump - when I'm just not feeling the creative itch, I either clean up my area or reorganize something/anything in my scrap area and it gets me in the mood to play with it and make another mess - that usually helps anyway. Good luck - can't wait to see all the creations you're going to come up with now ;-)
Ha - I just read the other comments and it looks like that helps a few of us ;-)
OMG I am so happy I won! Thanks so much. I can't wait to get your package.
What a cute idea with the block picutre. Your work is awesome!
I hope you're out of the slump. :)
My biggest struggle is finding the time to scrap. My day is so broken up.
