We are becoming Disney fanatics! This was my fourth trip in 2 1/2 months with the kids. We live so close, so why not? :-) My husband and I purchased annual passes last month. We are looking forward to many day trips this year!

Scarlett met the princesses for the first time. It was just precious, but unfortunately my pictures did not turn out that great...

School is going really well. I enjoy teaching fourth graders, and Bryson likes being in preschool all day. I will start my official countdown in April, because I will be staying home with the kids next year. I am very excited about it!!! If you are a teacher, I am sure you can completely understand. It is hard to be great at teaching and be a great mom at the same time. It can happen, but it sucks every bit of energy out of you on a daily basis. :-)

No creative streak yet.... I hope it happens soon!

I'm Alive! :-)

Wow. Can't believe my last post was in December. What a slacker!

Things are going really well here with us. Just busy, busy, busy! I am back to teaching, and I am loving fourth grade. I just wish there was more time in the day so I could enjoy everything in my life to the fullest extent. I miss my kids, especially Scarlett (since Bryson goes to school with me), but it is good to know that my sister is taking care of her.

Here are a few recent pictures. Bryson finally wanted a bike last weekend, so we went to get him one. We tried to talk him into one on his birthday, but he really didn't want one at that time. We told him we would get it when he was ready. Of course, I had lots of fun taking pictures of him on his new adventure!

My niece turned three last weekend, so we went to her princess themed party. Scarlett wore one of Annie's dresses. She loved it! Here is her serious face (along with her black eye). She is 20 months now. Time is really flying by!

I am going to try to sneak into the scrap room later today. I sure miss creating!

Hello Everyone! Here are a few pictures from our Christmas Day (well, the last one is from Bryson's preschool program). We had such a wonderful time with our family, and the kids are busy playing with their new toys today. What fun!

I got some CTMH supplies for Christmas, so I hope to be back into the groove soon. We'll have to wait and see since I start my new job on Jan. 5th...

A New Post!

Don't pass out... I am actually posting a few pieces of artwork! :-)

This is a quick card I made using the Aspen papers. I love them, but I only have the pieces that I received in the consultant samples. I really don't have a need for snow themed layouts since I live where it never snows! It was fun to use the White Daisy pigment ink, too. I don't get that out enough.

I only have one good picture of my family from my sister-in-laws wedding. As you can see, it was a bright and beautiful October day. I also couldn't get Scarlett to cooperate that day. My little man was the ring bearer. He looked so handsome! I used the Dazzling Die Cuts and the Serendipity stamp set. I used a chocolate rub on above the family photo. It doesn't show up that good, so I am a little disappointed with it. Oh well!

This is my son with one of my high school best friend's daughter. They see each other a few times a year, and they sure have fun! We are actually going to see them Monday at Disney World (major perk of living so close to Orlando). I used a layout from the Autumn/Winter Idea Book with the Magic Moments PP. Oops, I forgot to take a picture of the companion page!

Happy Thanksgiving

Hey Everyone! I've been so out of touch lately (still) and I hope things will get a little less crazy soon. Who am I kidding? It's probably going to be something very difficult to overcome since I am going back to work for five months in January. I was offered a temporary teaching position at my old school, and I decided it was too good of an offer to pass up right now. We'll be dealing with some new dynamics in our family for awhile, but I think I made a really good decision. Some of my customers are worried that I won't have time for scrapbooking, but I will of course make time for my girls! :-) Also, sorry for my lack of comments on my favorite blogs lately. I've been without a laptop for about ten days, and it is very difficult to sneak back into the office with the two kiddos. I am hoping to catch up this weekend.

We are celebrating Thanksgiving with my family in SC this weekend. I wish you all a wonderful holiday!!!!

Ok, so first I need to apologize for all those promises I made about blog candy. It has taken me awhile, but I am actually following through! :-) Those of you with children understand that life with a toddler is way different from life with a baby. I can't turn my back for more than a second with my sweet little angel! My preschooler wants so much of my attention, too. We play card and board games all day. I am not complaining, just giving you all my excuses. Oh, and I also spend way too much time on Facebook. ;-)

Anyway, here it is:

Very Quick Layout

Ok, so I haven't posted artwork in forever, because I haven't created much of anything this month. I did sit down to put together this very simple layout the other day. I really am in a big creative slump right now. It is very frustrating. There isn't much to this one, but I am actually ok with that for now. Scarlett is finally letting me put bows in her hair! I have struggled with this for months because she was always pulling them out. I looked at her a week or so ago and told her that if she didn't wear it, I would. I put it in my hair, and you can probably guess how she felt about that! She wanted it back. :-)

Hopefully I will get back in the groove soon...

Quick Post

I have been neglecting this blog lately. I really have been so busy! With trying to recover from our big trip and getting ready for Bryson's birthday and Halloween. Oh, and we've had company for the past 5 days and will have them until the weekend. It is such a busy time of the year for us!

I am just dying to get into the scraproom, but I am too tired once the kids go to bed. I know I keep promising some blog candy. I will be back with that very soon (promise again)....

New Stuff and RAKs

This is one of the bonus layouts from my November workshop using Magic Moments. It is also one of the layouts you see in the Idea Book. I love it! I am always so happy when I can use older pictures on pages. These were taken at a birthday party we attended about two years ago at Gymboree. Bryson loved it. He still looked a lot like a toddler at that time. Gosh, they grow up too fast!
